A Gazette reporter quoting a Gazette columnist quoting another Gazette columnist

From Mike Boone’s city column yesterday:

News item: The new Paul McCartney album is being sold at Starbucks.

“Have you noticed,” asks my favourite Gazette columnist, Don Macpherson, “that the Beatles are dying in exactly the wrong order?”

Yawn…..this sort of comment is like going on about the cold war….it’s different now and times have changed. McCartney is now recognised for being a brilliant composer and musician. His “be-littling” came largely from Lennons snipes shortly after the break up. They made up- It’s about time some journalists woke up to the modern opinion of Macca

Agreed…Tug Of War, Flaming Pie, Back To The Egg, Flowers in the Dirt, Ram…plus classical
The list of great music since the Beatles is endless and all from the mind of Paul McCartney..
    Long may the Knight reign!
